Lori D. Howard

Sole Practitioner
Benton, Arkansas

I am a solo practitioner serving the Central Arkansas area. My practice philosophy is to provide the best legal service for a price that is affordable, with options to fit your budget and needs. I am passionate about service to the greater good, and I understand first-hand how it feels to be the client instead of the lawyer. With my clients, I am able to explain legal terms, laws, benefits, and consequences in plain English, which I believe helps clients to better understand both the legal process and how their issues are being handled in the courts. I also act as an attorney ad litem in both family law and probate cases. I feel that the practice of law is about problem-prevention and problem-solving, both for the benefit of my clients.

I have a wide and interesting background, growing up in a small northeast Arkansas town, McCrory - population 1,800, and having lived in the Central Arkansas area for nearly 20 years. I graduated cum laude with a degree in psychology from Arkansas State University, and I worked in the non-profit world for over 20 years. I worked a full-time, very demanding job during law school, attending classes in the evenings. I graduated with honors from the UALR Bowen School of Law in 2013, and practiced for two years with another firm before opening my solo practice in 2016.

I am a member of the Saline County, Arkansas, and American Bar Associations, and I am a volunteer with local non-profit organizations. I look forward to serving your legal needs.
